LSFA Gets New Secretary
PRESS RELEASE LSFA Gets New Secretary Lagos State Football Association has announced the appointment of a new secretary, following the redeployment of its former secretary, Akeem Rabiu-Okikiopusu by the Lagos State Sports Commission. The Lagos FA at its emergency board ratified the choice of Mrs. Vera Hycient Okechukwu as the LSFA Secretary. By her appointment, she became the second woman secretary since the inception of Lagos FA and among the only three female Secretaries in Nigeria. The LSFA, in a press statement remarked that the appointment of the new secretary was based on the Lagos State Football Association 2023 Statutes as amended under section 5d, which empowers it to appoint a substantive secretary.
