Enyimba No. 1 Shot Stopper, John Noble Joins Tanzanian Premier League New Boys

Captain and goalkeeper of Enyimba FC of Aba, John Noble is the latest player to join clubs in East Africa, in search of proverbial greener pastures. Noble joined newly promoted Tanzanian Premier League side, Tabora United (formerly known as Kitayosce) ahead of the 2023/24 season, which kicks of in August. The out-of-favour Super Eagles goalkeeper signed a one-year deal which could be renewed for another 12 months, subject to the keeper's performances, in between the sticks all through the season. Last season, Tabora United played in Tanzania's second tier league, otherwise called the Championship, or "Ligi Daraja la Kwanza" in Swahili); and was one of the two teams automatically promoted to the nation's top flight.
