Ottasolo records famous victory in Warri to dump Abia Warriors out of NFF/Aiteo Cup. Ottaso FC Lagos who are featuring in the Federation Cup for the first time recorded a famous victory to zoom to the NFF/Aiteo Cup 2022 round 32 after defeating Abia Warriors 2-1 in a highly competitive contest at the Warri Township Stadium, Warri.  The Solo Boys lived it late as two late strike from Ugonna Samson and Ayodele Shina canceled Ahmed Yakub's 50th minute low strike to dump Abia Warrios out of the NFF/AiteoCup 2022. Spalletti orders Osimhen to leave training session. Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen was ordered to leave Napoli training on Sunday afternoon following an altercation,www.spectacular9j.blogspot.com reports. Luciano Spalletti’s side are currently in a preseason camp in Castel di Sangro. During an open 11v11 training exercise, new signing Leo Ostigard, who was picked in Osimhen’s team, was at the end of a hard tackle by Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa. This led to Osimhen protesting and demanding a foul call in a very aggressive manner. Despite attempts by Anguissa to placate him, the Super Eagles player would not be mollified. This led Spalletti, who was refereeing the session, asking the 23-year-old to get off the training pitch. Per reports from multiple sources, Spalletti was believed to have told Osimhen, “You talk too much. Jose Peseiro set to extend Super Eagles’ contract.

Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro is expected to extend his contract with the the Nigeria Football Federation following the postponement of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, spectacular9ja  understand. The 2023 AFCON finals which was originally slated for June next year in Cote d’Ivoire was postponed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) due to the unfavourable weather condition in the West African country in the summer. The competition will now hold in January, 2024. Peseiro penned a one-year contract with the NFF following his appointment in May this year. According to  CompleteSports ,  it was disclose that a reliable source that the NFF will now extend Peseiro’s contract until after AFCON 2024. Rivers United players and officials have been heavily rewarded for their heroic efforts in winning the Nigeria Professional Football League by the State governor, Nyesom Wike, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports. The Port Harcourt based club won the state's first ever NPFL title with a record 77 points this season after many failed attempts. This happens to be a parting gift for the governor who's tenure ends next year. Governor Nyesom Wike has invested heavily in the club since he took over the helm of affairs and the state and his investment yeilded towards the end of his tenure in office. For this bravery act, the governor has thus rewarded the players with a cash prize of $20,000 each. Israel Adesanya proved once again that he’s the best middleweight in the UFC, taking out Jared Cannonier by xxxxxxx to retain his title Saturday night in the main event of UFC 276 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, spectacular 9ja  reports. Adesanya managed to keep Cannonier at a distance for much of the fight, fending off an occasional level change and clinch and turning it into a standup battle that played right into the champion’s game. Nwakali rejects €23,000 monthly basis offer from FC Zurich

Nigeria midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali has rejected a move to Swiss club, FC Zurich, spectacular 9ja gather . FC Zurich, according to Spanish news outlet, Dario Sport offered to pay Nwakali €23,000 on a monthly basis. The player, however, deemed it too small and turned down a move to the club. Nottingham Forest and Leeds are interested in signing Torino defender Ola Aina, spectacular9ja.blogspot.com reports. The versatile wing-back spent last season operating as a left-sided wing-back and he made 21 appearances in Serie A.
