Organisers of the third edition of Anjolani Biz Football Competition have said loud and clear that only 11 teams are needed to participate in the much-anticipated football tourney tagged ‘Anjolani Biz Cup’ A total of 24 teams are expected to feature in the tourney which kicks off 27 August at the NUD playground, Ifo, Ogun state. Tournament coordinator, Adewale Saheed Babalola confirmed that only 13 teams have completed their registration forms, saying that the organisers still need more entries to complete the 24 teams that would begin the hostility in the next few weeks. “Presently we need 11 teams to fill the remaining entries. Our registration form is N50,000 and I commend the teams that have registered with us. It is no longer news that the inaugural edition of U-20 Health Champions Cup has come and gone but the successes and benefits of the competition had positive impact on the players and officials. Although the one week competition which kicked off last month was put together by Green Sports Africa in partnership with Africa MasterCard Foundation. In readiness for its return to the CAF inter-club competition, Bendel Insurance has strengthened its attack for the task ahead. The Benin Arsenal qualified for this CAF Confederation Cup after they defeated Rangers International of Enugu in the final of the federation cup. The club on Tuesday unveiled their new attacking midfielder, Tamara Ezekiel. The skilful player joined the Benin-based club from Shooting Stars, he started last season with Kwara United before joining the Oluyole Warriors during mid-season.
