Former Sunshine Stars Captain Michael Olalusi moved to Niger Tornadoes ahead of the 2026/27 season.

 


Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Niger Tornadoes have secured the services of former Sunshine Stars captain Michael Olalusi ahead of the upcoming football season.

The highly-rated box-to-box midfielder joins the Ikon Allah Boys after an impressive spell with Sunshine Stars, where he distinguished himself as a leader on and off the pitch. Known for his work rate, composure, and ability to influence games from midfield, Olalusi is expected to add quality and experience to the Niger Tornadoes squad.

Speaking after completing the move, the former Sunshine Stars captain expressed his excitement and determination to contribute to the club's success.

“I am ready to deliver and help take Niger Tornadoes to greater heights. I will give my best every time I step onto the pitch and work hard to achieve the club's objectives,” he said.
