Flying Eagles thrash Olympic Niamey in friendly.

In a friendly earlier today at the Stade Municipal, the Flying Eagles walloped Niger Ligue 1 side Olympic Niamey 4-0.

The Nigeria team played this game as a warm-up friendly as they continue their preparations and hope to integrate well for the 2022 U-20 WAFU Championship.

Muhammad Aminu, Ibrahim Yahaya, Ahmed Abdullahi and Muhammad Beji scored in a comfortable victory for Ladan Bosso’s side.

The Flying Eagles are in Group B with bitter rivals Ghana and Burkina Faso.

The 2022 WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations will be contested in Niger.

The competition’s champion and runner-up will also receive admission to the 2023 African Youth Championship in Egypt.
