NPFL: Maikaba Relishes Rangers Victory Over Heartland, Shift Attention To Remo Clash

Rangers International head coach Abdu Maikaba is delighted with his side's victory over Heartland FC in the matchday 27 game played on Saturday.

The Flying Antelope has to rally back from a goal down to a 3-1 win over the Naze Millionaire at the Awka City stadium.

Former Plateau United gaffer praised his player's calmness and persistence in the course of the game and further shifted attention to their next league match against Remo Stars.

" “We are happy with the result. At this stage of the league, winning anywhere is important. Now l believe this – our win will change our position and that is good for us.

“What is special about our game against Remo Stars is that we are contending for a top position at present.

“The destiny is in our own hands. Next week we go to Remo, to get something, and that is to consolidate which is the mission. We will try and prepare ourselves so well for that," he said.
