 Matchday 27: Rangers Thrash Heartland In Oriental Derby As Remo Go Down To Abia Warriors.

Action resume on the matchday 27 of the Nigeria Professional Football League and it was a good outing for former champion Enugu Rangers.

The oriental derby played at the Awka City stadium witnessed Rangers rally back from a goal down to 3-1 against Heartland FC.

It was Monday Yakubu that gave the away side the lead in the 13th minute before Ossy Martins levelled the game in the 22nd minute.

Shedrack Asiegbu put the Flying Antelope ahead just before the halftime before Eso Archibong sealed the win in the 90th minute.

Goals from Yakubu Hammed and Valentine Odoh ensured that Abia Warrior defeated visiting Remo Stars in Okigwe.

The remaining matches are scheduled to take place on Sunday.
