Umar Nets 17th Goal Of The Season As Almeria Thump Amorebieta

Spanish Segunda club UD Almeria continued to press for a return to the La Laiga as they thrashed relegation threatened Amorebieta 3-0, BSNsports.com.ng can report.

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker, Sadiq Umar, was the cynosure of all eyes with another impressive performance in the game.

After a scoreless first half, Almeria took the lead in the 54th minute through an own goal from Amorebieta defender Lopez

Babic doubled Almeria's lead in the 75th minute before Umar missed a penalty 8 minutes later.

The Nigeria international redeemed himself in the 89th minute with a well-taken goal and sealed maximum points for Almeria.

Umar has now scored 17 goals this season as Almeria top the table with 76 points in 39 games.
