Nigeria U17 girls, Flamingos have qualified for the 2022 FIFA U17 World Cup in India.

Nigeria won the first leg 1-0 at Ethiopia but played a goalless draw in Abuja this evening.

Six qualifying games, scored 15 goals & kept clean sheets in all.

Nigeria U20 Girls - Qualified for FIFA U20 World Cup.

Nigeria U17 Girls - Qualified for FIFA U17 World Cup.

Nigeria U20 Boys - Won the WAFU U20 & qualified for the 2023 U20 AFCON.

This Month; U17 WAFU Cup in Nigeria. Golden Eaglets are rounding up their preparation in Abuja.

Super Falcons - Qualified for the 2022 Women's AFCON (2023 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers).

There is also 2023 CHAN qualifiers and U23 AFCON qualifiers this year.

Football in Nigeria should not be about Super Eagles alone.

Aruna returns to top 20 in latest ITTF Ranking.

Quadri Aruna made a quick return to the top 20 in the latest ITTF Ranking released on Tuesday, April 16, by the world table tennis ruling body. In the rating list made public by ITTF, the Nigerian gained three steps up the ranking to occupy 19th spot in the ranking. In the last two rankings, Aruna slid to 22 after missing the World Team Championships in Korea as well as the WTT Champions in Incheon but he has fought his way back to the elite rank of the rating. African Games champion, Omar Assar of Egypt also gained one step up the rating to be ranked 16 in the world. Meanwhile, Aruna started his campaign at the ITTF World Cups Macao 2024, on a good note with a 4-0 (11-6, 11-4, 11-6, 11-6) convincing win over Puerto Rico’s Daniel Gonzalez to set the final group 15 tie against Portugal’s Marcos Freitas on Wednesday, April 17 at the Galaxy Arena. The team had it's first training at a small pitch in Oyebande Street Suberu-Town Casso-Alagbado, the zeal and commitment of the team made them won their first trophy which was the Valentine cup in February 14, 1985.This inaugural edition is to be held on the 31st December 2023 by 4pm at the Football field, Adura bus stop, Alagbado Lagos.
