Adegboye Olaseni extol praise against Liberty All Stars 

Evergreen All Stars President Adegboye Olaseni has attributed his team’s 3-2 slim win against Liberty All Stars as a superb performance.

Speaking to Spectacular9ja exclusively, Adegboye Olaseni said his team played very well as luck was on their side.

He reiterated that the result of the match did reflect the performance on the field of a better play, as he maintained that his team played better.

“So I can say my team are superb with excellent performance. We played good football as luck count on our side,” he said.

“Evergreen will continue the winning momentum,” Kehinde Adebayo told Spectacular9ja.

Elsewhere, Vice President of Evergreen All Stars Kehinde Adebayo also praise his club side for a slim victory 

Ahead of next game against Keke All Stars, Kehinde Adebayo stated that they will correct all the lapses noticed in their last win.

“We want to make amends in the areas we made mistakes in the last victory game.  That’s what we are looking to achieve against Keke All Stars.” he concluded.

Aruna returns to top 20 in latest ITTF Ranking.

Quadri Aruna made a quick return to the top 20 in the latest ITTF Ranking released on Tuesday, April 16, by the world table tennis ruling body. In the rating list made public by ITTF, the Nigerian gained three steps up the ranking to occupy 19th spot in the ranking. In the last two rankings, Aruna slid to 22 after missing the World Team Championships in Korea as well as the WTT Champions in Incheon but he has fought his way back to the elite rank of the rating. African Games champion, Omar Assar of Egypt also gained one step up the rating to be ranked 16 in the world. Meanwhile, Aruna started his campaign at the ITTF World Cups Macao 2024, on a good note with a 4-0 (11-6, 11-4, 11-6, 11-6) convincing win over Puerto Rico’s Daniel Gonzalez to set the final group 15 tie against Portugal’s Marcos Freitas on Wednesday, April 17 at the Galaxy Arena. The team had it's first training at a small pitch in Oyebande Street Suberu-Town Casso-Alagbado, the zeal and commitment of the team made them won their first trophy which was the Valentine cup in February 14, 1985.This inaugural edition is to be held on the 31st December 2023 by 4pm at the Football field, Adura bus stop, Alagbado Lagos.
