Otasollo Preseason Tournament 2022 Will Be The Best Ever – Gabriel Davis

The president of Otasollo International Chief Gabriel Davis has hinted the media about the upcoming Otasollo Preseason Tournament which will be held in Lagos and it will be the best ever in the history of Preseason Tournament in Nigeria .

I’m his statement with the media at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena for the CAFCC Qualifiers game between Kwara United and AS Dounase of Niger Republic.

In his statement, he said

“Otasollo Preseason Tournament will commence very soon and all is set to make it worth while for all participating teams.

“We started it last year will loads to positive to take from the Preseason Tournament. We discovered new talents that eventually played in the U20 national teams and some also played in the NPFL.”

“The preseason tournament will involve the NPFL teams and the NNL teams which will also serve as a true test for the invited team preparation for the new season “

When asked about the renumeration for the participating teams, the Philanthropist sport lover said:

This year tournament is going to be in New dimension as you already know that Otasollo has been doing its things in a an exceptional ways right from the onset. This year is going to be more exceptional as we have called it Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) Otasollo Preseason Tournament in Lagos.

The former Stationery Stores FC player assured that the plans and everything as regards organisations is set for the tournament as the the appearance fee for team goes for 500 thousand naira with the winner going home with the sum of two million Naira. First of its kind in the Nigeria.

Recall Otasollo Preseason Tournament started last year with MFM FC winning the first edition in Lagos.

Aruna returns to top 20 in latest ITTF Ranking.

Quadri Aruna made a quick return to the top 20 in the latest ITTF Ranking released on Tuesday, April 16, by the world table tennis ruling body. In the rating list made public by ITTF, the Nigerian gained three steps up the ranking to occupy 19th spot in the ranking. In the last two rankings, Aruna slid to 22 after missing the World Team Championships in Korea as well as the WTT Champions in Incheon but he has fought his way back to the elite rank of the rating. African Games champion, Omar Assar of Egypt also gained one step up the rating to be ranked 16 in the world.
