Off-season Novelty Match: Ottasolo All-Stars vs Ottasolo Selected Pros

The Chairman and founder of Ottasolo Group of Companies, Otunba Gabriel Davies have announced a novelty Match between his Ottasolo All-Stars based in Alimosho Lagos and his professional players who are based abroad and Nigeria.

The match is to forster cordial relationships among the ottasolo family and at the same time to celebrate the ex and active professionals who has bond with Ottasolo Group.

According to the chairman while speaking with Ottasolo FC media at the Greenland Field, Alimosho area of Lagos at the early hours of Tuesday.

"I think the brain behind this concept is to celebrate our ex-professionals who have meritoriously served the nation and now plays for Ottasolo All-Stars. Also to host our active players that have represented their various professional clubs both home and abroad during the just concluded football season. Otunba Gabriel posited. 

"The gathering will also open doors for more opportunities as the active players will get to interact directly with the ex-players some of them who are now Licensed Football Agents, Football Administrators, Government Workers, Coaches and more to share ideas. The chairman stated

The Ottasolo All-Stars based in Alimosho Lagos comprises of exceptional players that have carved a niche for themselves as far as the round leather game is concerned in Nigeria and abroad. The likes of Otunba Gabriel Davies who featured for Stationary Stores FC of Lagos, Chief Ogunremi Azeez (Jejeti) played for Okin Oloja FC in Ogun State, Babatunde Adeyemi played for Enyimba FC and Abia Warriors, Solomon Odume played for (NITEL FC, Gateway FC), Abiodun Sala played for Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC (ABS) in Ilorin and many other prominent ex-players that played for notable teams and Nigeria National Team are part of the Ottasolo All-Stars that are expected to trade tackles with the Ottasolo Selected Pros.

The 'Ottasolo Selected Pros' is made up of players who has direct and indirect ties with Ottasolo FC before joining another professional teams in Nigeria and abroad. The likes of Sholumade Boluwaji who played for the Nigeria U20, Sunshine Stars, Akwa United FC in Nigeria and Nava1893 in Portugal. John Peter former Abia Warriors and currently with Rosenberg FC U23 Norway. Falolu Azeez of Katsina United, Sikiru Alimi of Remo Stars, Ikenna Stephen and Ifeanyi Ogba both of Rangers International who just won the 2023/2024 NPFL Tittle are part of the star players that are expected to feature for Ottasolo Selected Pros that would be tutored by Ex-international and current Head Coach of First Bank FC, Alhaji Mohammed Gafar.

The match is scheduled to take center stage Saturday, 6th July, 2024 at the Alade Momorial Stadium, Command, Ipaja, Lagos State by 8am.
