Papa Daniel Poised for Young Boys Transfer

Niger Tornadoes midfielder, Papa Daniel, is on the verge of joining Swiss club Young Boys. 

Papa Daniel's performance this season for the Ikon Allah Boys, which includes three goals and three assists in 21 league appearances, has caught the attention of the Swiss club. 

The 23-year-old player, who earned a Super Eagles call-up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and was part of the home-based Super Eagles team that qualified for the 2024 CHAN, is reportedly offered a two-year contract by Young Boys, according to Africa Foot. 

Daniel previously played in Europe with Turkish club Adanaspor, where he terminated his contract due to unpaid wages.

'25 Ramadan Cup: Shindara FC edge Orphiel to emerge champions Shindara FC emerged victorious of the 2025 Ramadan Cup after beating Orphiel FC in the final on Monday. The pulsating encounter unfortunately ended goalless at regulation time despite fireworks from both sides.
