ALL STAR UNITY CUP 2026 (4TH EDITION): MATCH DAY 2 PRODUCES 11 GOALS IN FOUR THRILLING ENCOUNTERS


Match Day 2 of the ongoing All Star Unity Cup 2026 (4th Edition) took place today, Saturday, 15th August 2026, at Agidingbi Primary School, Lagos, with football fans treated to four exciting encounters that produced a total of 11 goals.

The first match of the day saw Football Fitness Club (FFC) secure a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Beyond Limit Athlete. One of the major highlights of the encounter was the appearance of former Nigerian international Mon Aruna Lukmon, popularly known as Apache, who featured for Beyond Limit Athlete.

The second game produced another entertaining encounter as Samba FC defeated Oregun All Stars FC 3–2 in a closely contested affair. Both sides displayed attacking football, but Samba FC eventually secured all three points.

In the third match, Ayobo-Ipaja All Stars recorded a narrow 1–0 victory over Kitup All Stars. The decisive moment came through an outstanding strike from one of Ayobo-Ipaja’s most experienced players, Jay-Jay Eziana, whose thunderous effort was widely regarded as the Goal of the Day.

The final match of Match Day 2 featured Great Mind Knight All Stars against Ojokoro All Stars. The two teams battled intensely in a tense and entertaining encounter, with both sides eventually sharing the points after a 1–1 draw.

With 11 goals scored across four matches, Match Day 2 lived up to the expectations of the All Star Unity Cup, combining experience, quality football, competitive spirit and entertainment.

The tournament continues to bring together experienced footballers and former stars in an atmosphere of unity, friendship and healthy competition, as teams battle for glory in the 4th Edition of the All Star Unity Cup 2026.
