The final of the 9JA All-Stars Football Championship 2026 lived up to expectations as host team Remo Stars All-Stars emerged champions after defeating Ottasolo All-Stars of Lagos via a dramatic penalty shootout.

The highly anticipated encounter ended 1-1 in regulation time, with both teams displaying quality, experience, and determination throughout the contest.

With neither side able to find a winning goal during normal time, the match proceeded to penalties, where Remo Stars All-Stars held their nerve to secure a 5-4 victory on penalties, claiming the prestigious championship title in front of their home supporters at the Remo Stars Sports Club Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State.

Despite the defeat, Ottasolo All-Stars delivered an impressive tournament performance, reaching the final after overcoming ValueJet All-Stars in the semi-finals. Their resilience and fighting spirit throughout the competition earned them the admiration of football fans and stakeholders.

The thrilling final brought the 2026 edition of the championship to a memorable conclusion, with Remo Stars All-Stars lifting the trophy and celebrating a well-deserved triumph on home soil.
